Kevin Kennedy is Executive Vice President and Head of North American Trading Services at Nasdaq. In this role, he leads the NATS team across North American Equities, U.S. Options, Marketing, Sales, Communications, and Connectivity Services. Prior to this role, Kevin served as Head of North American Market Service at Nasdaq. responsible for North American Equities, US. Options, and Connectivity.
Kevin also serves as a Board Member for the Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) and Nasdaq CXC Limited, and previously served as a Board Member on the Philadelphia Stock Exchange, prior to its acquisition by Nasdaq.
Kevin began his career as an independent market maker in September 1987. Since then, he has served as President of his own trading firm, and Vice President in the Goldman Sachs Equities division, where he managed the firm’s Philadelphia derivatives operation. He graduated from La Salle University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance. He currently resides in Paoli, PA, with his wife and two children.
