Natan Tiefenbrun is President of Cboe Europe, the European division of Cboe Global Markets. Based in London, Mr. Tiefenbrun oversees Cboe Europe's operations, which provide market participants with cutting-edge trading, clearing and technology solutions for the European equities and derivatives markets. Cboe Europe operates the largest pan-European stock exchange and trade reporting facility, with venues in the EU (Cboe NL) and UK (Cboe UK), and owns the most connected open access CCP in Europe.
Mr. Tiefenbrun became President in June 2022, having first joined Cboe Europe as its Head of Equities in June 2021. Prior to Cboe, Mr. Tiefenbrun was Managing Director, EMEA Execution Services at Bank of America (BofA), where he worked since 2013. He led the firm's agency equities execution services in the EMEA region, including its high touch, portfolio trading and electronic trading offerings. During this tenure he served on the Equities Board of the Association for Financial Markets in Europe (AFME).
Prior to BofA, Mr. Tiefenbrun spent four years with the London Stock Exchange Group, most recently as Chief Executive Officer of Turquoise, a pan-European equities and equity derivatives trading platform. He began his financial career in 1993 with Instinet, where he spent 13 years developing and running the firm's portfolio trading, algorithmic trading and sponsored access business.
He holds a degree in Computing Science from the University of Edinburgh.
