Passionate about math education, Sandor Lehoczky has championed math competitions and accessibility for over 30 years. A high school Math Olympian himself, he co-founded the challenging Mandelbrot Competition in 1990. His dedication continued with the co-authoring of "The Art of Problem Solving" in 1994, a groundbreaking series that transformed how ambitious high schoolers prepare for math challenges. Sandor excelled academically at Princeton University, graduating in 1994 with honors in Physics and Applied Mathematics. After joining Jane Street in 2001, he rose through the ranks while leading various projects. Recognizing the need for broader access, Sandor co-founded the Art of Problem Solving Initiative (AoPSI) in the mid-2000s. This non-profit empowers talented students facing obstacles to excel in mathematics.
